RF Optimization and Tower Inspection

Radio and cellular towers are often placed in secluded areas for better coverage or clearance. Aerial surveys can perform many functions that improve remote operations while lowering manual survey costs, such as:

  • RF measurement/optimization (at multiple distances/altitudes)
  • Configuration verification (what equipment is placed where on the tower)
  • Structural integrity (attachments, enclosures, intrusion detection)
  • Environmental encroachment (nests, storm debris, right-of-way clearances)

Once completed, inspection can be operationalized into continuous cyclic coverage, predictive maintenance, or targeted incident coverage for rapid event response (e.g. storms, outages) that help pinpoint where manual intervention is needed.
